I love reading cozy mystery novels that have dogs figuring prominently in the plot. This novel, the third in the "Thousand Island Mystery" series, has my favorite breed, Crocker Spaniels, in the plot, but not prominently. After reading three novels and finding more print devoted to fabulous food consumption (and precious few pounds gained) I have quit spending my time reading these novels.There is an element of crime, murder, suspense, bad guys, etc., but not enough to maintain my interest. Each succeeding novel is another formula plot, predictable and boring.

Love this series of books! Fast paced, keeps your interest throughout
I loved this book. The humor, the characters and the dogs. The way the mystery was solved was excellent. Very good read.
Cozy Mystery with plenty of dogs including those from a puppy mill. The main characters are well developed with interesting personalities. Chet Claire keeps the food flowing while Josie and Suzy help the police in solving crimes.
I enjoyed the book. Thought it was funny and interesting. I hate puppy mills and like any one who makes an effort to stop them.
This book would be a good book for anyone who likes dogs and mystery.
I really enjoy this series. I am from New York near to Thousand Islands and I am a dog person. It keeps your interest and is humorous at the same time.
Loved this book so much that I ordered three more! Laughed, cried and laughed some more.........such a joy to read!! Had a very hard time putting my down to do other things. Extremely enjoyable read!!!
I’m enjoying the B R Snow books and am already on book 5. I love all the characters and, if course, the integral part the dogs play in each tell along with the education of the breeds, puppy mills, etc. They are entertaining and I recommend the series.
